About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 13-day assignment in Virginia, starting Nov 25, 2026. This role involves variable shifts and focuses on performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and treating acute and chronic illnesses for our client's patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform physical exams
• Order or perform diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Develop treatment plans
• Treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Handle family practice cases such as colds and coughs, hypertension, UTIs, STIs, and sports physicals
• Address urgent care type visits, including lacerations, minor injuries and trauma, suturing, and ingrown toenail removal
• Provide women’s health services including Pap smears
• Utilize on-site services including X-ray, ultrasound, and a full laboratory
