Our client is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California. This role operates Tuesday through Friday, focusing on primary care within an FQHC setting, handling rural health needs, and covering a provider's sabbatical. Responsibilities include managing multiple patient complaints per visit, providing general primary care, and conducting well-child checks.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects.
- Manage multiple patient complaints per visit, including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, and diabetes.
- Offer homeless care and LGBTQ+ care services.
- Conduct annual check-ups and typical FQHC primary care.
- Perform women's health procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon removals.
- See primarily adult patients, with some well-child checks and school physicals as needed.
- Cover a sabbatical for an existing provider.
