Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment. This role involves working 4-5 days a week, including Fridays, with shifts from 8:30am-5:30pm. The schedule includes a lunch break and a half day of administrative time mid-week. The successful candidate will perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform comprehensive physical exams.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and develop effective treatment plans.
- Treat acute and chronic illnesses, including managing conditions like hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and arthritis.
- Conduct routine check-ups and provide preventive care, including annual physicals, vaccinations, and health screenings.
- Address acute illnesses such as common colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, and minor injuries.
- Provide pain management, including chronic pain medication management.
- May see women's health cases and perform occasional incision and drainage procedures based on comfort level.

- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patients per day: 18-22
- LOA: 60 Days
- Staffing Mix: 5 Physicians, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Pediatrician, 1 OBGYN, 1 Podiatrist, 3 Lead MAs, and several regular MAs.
