Our client in PA seeks a dedicated Anesthetist for a 60-day assignment. This full-time role involves a consistent 7a-5p schedule across four 10-hour shifts per week, with no weekends, call, or holidays. The position focuses on a broad range of anesthesia services, including general, spinal, epidural, and regional techniques for various surgical and obstetrical cases, along with pain management.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform General Anesthesia
- Administer Spinal Anesthesia
- Apply Epidural Anesthesia
- Conduct Regional Anesthesia for surgical procedures
- Manage Obstetrical Cases
- Handle Neurosurgical cases, including Head and Spine
- Oversee Complex vascular cases (excluding open heart)
- Manage Complex orthopedic cases
- Implement Pain management techniques, such as Post-op epidural and extremity blocks
- Administer Epidural steroid for Lumbar and Cervical
- Perform Ventilation management
- Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues
- Conduct Central Line placement
- Perform Arterial Line placement
- Provide CRNA coverage for all surgical cases including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, Labor and Delivery, Cath lab, CV lab, IR
- Perform house wide intubations
