     Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 72-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Michigan. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of cases including endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pain management, urology, vascular, and healthy pediatrics. This opportunity begins on 09/01/2025, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including 8-5 shifts and beeper call. The selected CRNA will work under a team model with supervising MDAs, providing high-quality anesthesia care for both outpatient (70%) and inpatient (30%) procedures. Proficiency in Epic EHR and Dragon dictation is required. There is potential for assignment extension for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures

    • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans

    • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures

    • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

    • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and hospital policies

    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR and Dragon dictation

    • Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients' recovery

    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

    • Perform nerve blocks as needed (preferred but not required)


    Additional Information:

    • Must be licensed to practice in Michigan

    • Experience with a diverse range of surgical procedures strongly preferred

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
