What You’ll Do
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, managing neurological status pre- and post-procedure
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as needed
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout surgeries
- Deliver anesthesia under supervision within a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Monitor patients continuously during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
- Respond to emergencies and assist with airway management, including intubation if necessary
- Contribute to a busy hospital environment performing approximately 50 surgical cases daily
What You Need
- Active CRNA license in Michigan
- Prior anesthesia experience, preferred general surgical and neurosurgical case exposure
- Strong knowledge of airway management and anesthesia procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
