About the Role:Transbay Lock Inc is looking for a skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team in San Rafael, CA! This is a hands-on role where you'll help customers with everything from lockouts to high-security installations — making a real difference in people's safety and peace of mind every day.
Experience preferable but not required.
Responsibilities:- Perform residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services
- Install, repair, and rekey locks, deadbolts, and door hardware
- Cut and duplicate keys using manual and electronic key-cutting equipment
- Install and service access control systems, master key systems, and high-security locks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot lock and security hardware issues on-site
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers
Requirements:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
