Position Details

POSITION

• Dedicated deliveries of grocery items. Where drivers shuttle IB freight from York to Ahold facilities.
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 75-100 miles from DC - no NY, NJ areas
• Deliver dry groceries on a '53, OR '51ft trailer
• All freight is palletized
• Drivers will not operate within New York City
• Dedicated steady freight.
• NO TOUCH
• Automatic daycabs that cannot be taken home for time off.
• Drivers must have reliable transportation to and from work daily

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Slip seating as needed.
• Drivers should understand the importance of customer service and have good customer service skills
• Uniforms are provided and maintained by the the account
• Drivers will work Holidays if it is their scheduled day to work unless the account is not running that Holiday. Drivers receive holiday pay $328
• No loads on Christmas and Thanksgiving.

• $0.70 - $0.80 per mile
• Drop/hook pay: $22.50
• Live stop pay: $49 per stop
• Trainee pay: $200 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday pay: $328 per day
• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $85,000
• Daily home time
• Onsite management
