Position Details

Position Details:

• Hand unload boxes onto conveyor or roller ramps at Ross retail store locations.
• Multi-stop deliveries. The average is 4-5 stops per route.
• Average unload count is 50-300 boxes per stop. 600-700 boxes per trailer. Boxes can weigh anywhere from 2lbs to 100lbs. The average is 50 to 75 lbs. per box.
• Product arrives on shuttles throughout the day, and all outbound freight is preloaded.
• Routes are multi-stop and predetermined/static each week.
• Drivers will not deliver often in San Francisco/City driving. There is a possibility as a backup they might have to go to the city but not frequently.
• Most routes are in the surrounding Bay Area cities.

This role is paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked and an activity-based payment calculated using the formula, Activity Based Total - Hourly Pay = Activity Based Payment Amount, to reward drivers for their commitment to delivering excellence and increase income based on individual efforts.
