Position Details

Position details:

• Drivers will be responsible for picking up a load at the shipping facility and delivering between 3-5 stops per day to TJ Maxx and Marshall Stores
• There will often be multiple loads per day
• Trucks are preloaded
• Freight is unloaded using a pallet jack
• Combination of full pallet drops, and pallet break down stops
• Full pallet drops - using manual pallet jack to offload product to storage room of TJ Maxx/Marshalls retail stores.
• Full pallet breakdown - is hand offloading full pallets consisting of an average of 30 boxes, 50lbs average each and utilizing a manual accordion style conveyor system to off load into stores back room)
• Drivers will load dunnage and returns from each store delivery to return to the distribution center
• Approximately 10% of deliveries are not dock deliveries and require using a liftgate to unload from the truck.
• Required to help other accounts or in warehouse as needed

• Must have reliable transportation to work
• Training is 2 weeks and will take place in Nashville TN
• Uniforms are required and provided
• Steel toe boots are required and driver is reimbursed

This role is paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked and an activity-based payment calculated using the formula, Activity Based Total - Hourly Pay = Activity Based Payment Amount, to reward drivers for their commitment to delivering excellence and increase income based on individual efforts.
