Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a local contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide direct nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.
- Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions and responses to treatment.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care practices.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required.
- Current BLS Certification preferred.
- Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong medication administration and clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
