Superintendent

An industry-leading design-build commercial contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up light industrial, warehouse, distribution, and tilt-wall construction projects throughout Georgia and the Southeast. This role is responsible for leading all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Leading all field operations for ground-up industrial, warehouse, and distribution center projects
  • Managing day-to-day construction activities from sitework through project completion
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners
  • Maintaining project schedules and ensuring milestone commitments are achieved
  • Enforcing safety standards and promoting a proactive safety culture on-site
  • Conducting daily inspections and quality control reviews
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to monitor budgets, schedules, and project performance
  • Coordinating material deliveries, equipment, manpower, and site logistics
  • Facilitating subcontractor meetings and owner walkthroughs
  • Identifying and resolving field issues to minimize delays and maintain productivity
  • Managing punch-list completion, closeout activities, and final turnover
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with contract documents and applicable regulations

The successful applicant will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience managing ground-up light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center projects
  • Extensive tilt-wall construction experience required
  • Strong understanding of industrial building systems and construction sequencing
  • Experience overseeing projects from earthwork and foundations through final occupancy
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
