Major Carrier – Local Shuttle Driver (Westfield, MA)

Overview: Local shuttle position hauling frozen grocery loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in CT. Drop & hook, no touch. No NYC deliveries on primary shuttle work.
Pay:
- ~$70,000/year
- $5,000 sign‑on bonus (limited time)
- $0.50–$0.54 CPM
- Activity pay: daily rate, stop pay, detention, layover, holiday pay
- $200/day paid training
- Benefits after 30 days; PTO from day one
Duties:
- Complete 3–10 shuttles/day
- Occasional supermarket deliveries (2–3 stops, pallet jack unloading)
- May assist Intermodal/DCS accounts
- Operate within ~250‑mile radius
- Slip seat; truck stays on site
Requirements:
- 3+ months experience
- Reliable personal transportation
- Must work required 6th days around holidays
- Comfortable with pallet jack unloading when needed
- Sunday–Thursday schedule with afternoon starts
