Local School Psychologist Job in San Tan Valley, Arizona

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administer psychological tests of intelligence, personality, neuropsychological processing, achievement, and development to determine student diagnosis . Provide a continuum of mental and behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, behavioral coaching, positive behavioral supports, and parent education .

Responsibilities

School Psychologists conduct formal psychological evaluations of students for special education eligibility, planning, placement, and consultation. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administer psychological tests of intelligence, personality, neuropsychological processing, achievement, and development to determine student diagnosis
• Observe students in the classroom as well as conduct interviews with parents and school personnel to learn the full scope of a student’s needs
• Provide a continuum of mental and behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, behavioral coaching, positive behavioral supports, and parent education

Certifications

• Master’s degree
