We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a weekend per diem opportunity in Nacogdoches, Texas. The ideal candidate will support healthcare providers with clinical and administrative duties while ensuring exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures.
- Take and document vital signs and patient histories.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed.
- Perform basic laboratory and specimen collection duties.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
Requirements
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
- Strong clinical and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Previous clinic, outpatient, or healthcare experience preferred.
