Position Details

Position Details:

• Day will start in the warehouse helping load the truck
• Delivering appliances and other big/bulky freight such as furniture, exercise equipment, patio furniture, etc. to customers'' homes, businesses, and building sites
• The delivery will include unloading and installation/assembly of equipment (Home delivery of appliances, furniture and exercise equipment which can include Multi-Story Buildings by stairs
• Helper is provided o team assist routes, but retail routes and/or less physical routes (retail, threshold, first covered area, crated delivery) my be solo operated routes
• There will be multiple deliveries per day
• Some stops may have returns to pick up.

Must Cover (Physically Demanding)

• This is a highly physical role requiring the daily loading, unloading, and installation of heavy appliances and bulky freight (furniture, fitness equipment, etc.).
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and maneuver items upwards of 450lbs. utilizing team lifting, proper tools, and carts.
• Technical Skills: Experience with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks, ramps, and general hand tools for assembly/installation is strongly preferred.
• Training will include but is not limited to product familiarization, assembly & installation, straight-truck training, defensive driving, DOT regulations, customer service skills and various operations procedures.
• Should wear work pants/khakis with plain shirt and steel toe boots (up to $75 reimbursement with receipt)
• Uniforms are provided
• Training will be 3-4 weeks.
