Job Title: Surgical Tech CWR

Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech I is responsible for cleaning and handling instruments following standard policies while maintaining updated records. This role involves ensuring proper handling, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments, maintaining accurate counts, and adhering to established policies and procedures. The Surgical Tech I also participates in team conferences to plan and evaluate patient care, assists in revising care plans, and ensures the needs of the patient population are met.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program or appropriate training program.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Level 1 trauma center experience.
• Experience in vascular, ortho trauma, spine, neuro, and endovascular procedures.
• Professional certification by the AST.
