Sterile Processing Technician CWR

Job Summary
The Central Supply Technician is responsible for the cleaning, processing, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, patient care equipment, and reusable medical/surgical items. This position also functions as a Case Cart Attendant for the Operating Room.

Required Qualifications
• Completion of a Central Processing Course or 1 year of experience in instrument processing.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Availability to work three (3) out of six (6) holidays.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules/shifts based on needs.

Required Education
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Certifications & Licensure
• National Certification: CRCST or CBSPDT.

Additional Information
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs., and stand for the length of the shift.
• Adherence to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies is required.
