**Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Special Care Nursery/NICU!** **Job Description:** - Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to our tiniest patients? As a Registered Nurse in our Special Care Nursery/NICU, you'll play a crucial role in the lives of newborns and their families. - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document personalized nursing care based on individual patient needs. - Identify patient needs and establish priorities for care through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patients' problems, physician diagnoses, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to ensure the best outcomes for our infants. - Manage the care of patients, documenting your actions following established standards of care and practice. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards, supporting the adoption of innovative care delivery methods. - Provide patient-centric care, aligned with a professional nursing practice model. - Assume additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. **Schedule:** - Work hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. - Every other weekend commitment as needed. - No on-call duty and shifts are 3x12s. **Requirements:** - Minimum 3+ years of Mother-Baby experience is required. - Experience caring for newborns essential. - Competency in managing higher acuity infants (32 weeks and above). - Ability to stabilize infants less than 32 weeks. **Education:** - Required Education: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing). - Preferred Education: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: BLS (must be AHA) and NRP certifications. - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
