Local 14-week contract, or ongoing PRN/per-diem

Hours

Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (local contract) or self-scheduled PRN shifts

Pay Rate

$35.00 $45.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, per Texas PTA supervision requirements
  • Deliver therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
  • Document treatment notes and daily progress in the EMR under required PT co-signature
  • Communicate patient status, progress, and concerns to the supervising PT
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with facility infection-control protocols

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Texas PTA license (or compact/state license eligibility)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 1 year PTA experience (skilled nursing/rehab preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Geriatric or rehab setting experience
