Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Coverage: Night Shift & Call Coverage
Position Overview
An immediate opportunity for an experienced Neurosurgery PA to join a well-established neurosurgery practice in Florida. Work alongside 4 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers, providing care to adult patients in a hospital-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide neurosurgical coverage for adult patients.
- Perform inpatient rounding and support outpatient services as needed.
- Handle overnight neurosurgery consultations and call coverage.
- Respond to calls within 15 minutes.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Manage approximately 10 patients per shift.
Requirements
- Active Florida PA license or IMLC eligibility as applicable.
- Current board certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neurosurgery APP.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available).
- Neurosurgery fellowship preferred.
- Local candidates preferred.
