Job Title: Occupational Therapist ClinSpec

Location: The Woodlands, Outpatient Building

Contract Length: Flexible, covering multiple FMLs with potential 10 or 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist ClinSpec will plan, evaluate, organize, and implement Occupational Therapy (OT) treatment programs in a developmentally and age-appropriate manner for patients ranging from neonates to adulthood. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized care plans, setting measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families, performing patient care activities, monitoring responses to treatment, recommending adaptive equipment, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires advanced clinical competencies in a specialty area and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active OT license in Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine, or 1 year of residency in these areas

• Pediatric experience in an outpatient setting
• Knowledge of rehabilitative care for patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Understanding of development from neonate to adulthood
• Demonstrated professional competencies with a history of exceptional performance appraisals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in basic office equipment such as fax, copier, and PC

• Remote access available for catching up on notes
• Flexible workdays and hours
