Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

Facility: Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital
Location: Chicago, IL
Department: PACU

Start Date: 09/27/2026 or 10/05/2026
Duration: 6 Weeks (+extension if needed) 
Shift: Evenings – 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
Hours: 4x10s (40 Hours/Week)

 

Pay Package:

  • Weekly Gross: $2,300.40
  • Weekly Taxable: $640.00
  • Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,660.40

Local Pay: $49.50/hr

 

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois RN License
  • BLS/CPR
  • ACLS
  • 3+ Years of Recent Acute Care PACU Experience
  • Minimum 2 Successful Travel Assignments
  • Updated Skills Checklist
  • 2 Professional References (At least 1 PACU Supervisor from a Travel Assignment within the Last Year)

Experience Preferred:

  • Previous Contract Extensions
  • Strong PACU Background in Acute Care Settings

Unit Details:

  • Pre-Op
  • Post-Op
  • Phase I PACU
  • Floating within PACU Department as Needed

Important Notes:

  • Looking for a seasoned PACU RN with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Punctuality is critical and closely monitored
  • Must be ready to work at the scheduled start time
  • No On-Call
  • No Holiday Requirement
