Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $67 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds – 16 Operating rooms
• Number of Staff – we staff one team of RN, SA, surgical tech per OR room running on day shift and taper on evenings. Call on weekends and nights
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – day shift (16 RN’s, 16 SA’s, and 16 surgical techs) evening shift (tapered to 4 teams from 3-5, 2 teams from 5-7 and 1 team from 7-11p. Call starts for additional 2 teams at 3pm.
  • Night Shift -  call only
• Patient Ratios – 1-1
• Type of equipment – OR equipment. Robotics, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, ortho etc.
• EMR - Meditech

Applicants must have 1 year of recent experience in OR and be available to work every other weekend. Active state or compact license required. Required certifications: BLS & ACLS
