POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurses for a 13-week night shift assignment. Candidates must have a strong NICU background and be comfortable providing specialized care to critically ill and medically fragile newborns.

Local and travel candidates are welcome!

SCHEDULE & ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36
Shift: Days or Nights
Floating: Required. Nurses must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed. Floating occurs based on operational needs, without a fixed set of requirements.
On-Call: Not required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years of NICU RN experience required.
Active California RN license required. Expired licenses must be renewed before submission.
Required certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics

PAY PACKAGE – TRAVEL CANDIDATES

Regular Pay: $33.00/hour for 24 hours = $792.00
Overtime Pay: $49.50/hour for 12 hours = $594.00
Total Taxable Pay: $1,386.00/week
Weekly Lodging Stipend: $1,936.00
Meals Stipend: $0.00
Gross Weekly Estimate: $3,322.00

PAY PACKAGE – LOCAL CANDIDATES

Regular Pay: $73.00/hour for 24 hours = $1,752.00
Overtime Pay: $109.50/hour for 12 hours = $1,314.00
Total Taxable Pay: $3,066.00/week

ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION

Scrubs: Royal blue or navy blue.
PPE: Fully provided; fit testing can be completed onsite.
