Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Contract - MSM

Location: Mount Sinai St. Luke's

Contract Length: 3x12 Schedule with weekends required

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of care.

Required Qualifications:
• NYS RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Unit experience
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• 1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)

Preferred Qualifications:
• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN Program
