Unit Specifics:

·       Number of Beds : 30

·       Patient Ratios : 1:6

·       Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary and PCT’s on both days and nights

·       Type of equipment : Baxter IV pumps, PCA pump, wound vacs, telemetry

·       Documentation system: EPIC

·       Scheduling requirements: 12 hours, 36 hours/week

·       Floating policy: May float to other Med Surg units in the same building

·       Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift handoff, Complete and update patient whiteboard every shift

Hospital Specifics-

·       Certifications: BLS

Must have most 1 year worth of recent Med Surg experience.
