Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.

Required:

• The ideal candidate has strong recent ICU experience with the flexibility to care for progressive-care patients.
• The nurse should be confident managing ventilated patients, vasoactive and cardiac drips, invasive lines, cardiac monitoring, and rapidly evolving clinical conditions.
• Strong communication, prioritization, critical-thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential.
• The RN will float between the ICU and PCU based on staffing needs, patient census, and clinical acuity.
• Nurses must be able to independently manage patients within their validated competencies and safely adapt to the workflows and patient-care expectations of each unit.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience is not required
• Active and unrestricted RN NY State license as required by the facility
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and assessment skills
• Ability to care for patients requiring continuous cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to manage a 1:2 patient assignment in both ICU and PCU settings
