Position Overview

Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a 13-week assignment. Candidates must have a strong emergency nursing background, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to float throughout the Emergency Department as needed.

Local and travel candidates are welcome!

Schedule & Requirements

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Weekly Hours: 36
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:3 when fully staffed and 1:4 when short-staffed
Floating: Required throughout the Emergency Department
On-Call: Not required
Patient Census: Approximately 200–240
Local Travelers: Accepted

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required.
Active California RN license required. Expired licenses must be renewed before submission.
Required certifications:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NIHSS

COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required.

PAY PACKAGE – TRAVEL CANDIDATES

Regular Pay: $36.50/hour for 24 hours = $876.00
Overtime Pay: $54.75/hour for 12 hours = $657.00
Total Taxable Pay: $1,533.00/week
Lodging Stipend: $1,470.00/week
Meals Stipend: $0.00
Gross Weekly Estimate: $3,003.00

PAY PACKAGE – LOCAL CANDIDATES

Regular Pay: $67.00/hour for 24 hours = $1,608.00
Overtime Pay: $100.50/hour for 12 hours = $1,206.00
Total Taxable Pay: $2,814.00/week
Stipends: $0.00
Gross Weekly Estimate: $2,814.00

Additional Assignment Information

Scrubs: Royal blue or navy blue; OR scrubs are available.
PPE: Fully provided. Fit testing can be completed onsite.
Parking: Available onsite.
EMR: Epic
Patient Population: Emergency Department patients, including Level III trauma cases.
Pay Cycle: Sunday–Saturday.
