HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Palliative Care for a local contract job in Bronx, New York.

Position: Nurse Practitioner (Palliative Care / Hospice / Advanced Illness Care)
Location: Bronx, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary:$150,000–$180,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous patient care as assigned by the Calvary Hospital Medical Director.
- Care for patients with advanced-stage disease and complex medical needs.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to terminally ill patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Assess patients and contribute to appropriate care planning and management.
- Support the physical, emotional, and overall care needs of patients and families.
- Maintain the high standards of compassionate care associated with Calvary Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- Current DEA license.
- Minimum 3,600 hours of Nurse Practitioner experience in one or more of the following settings:
- Hospital
- Inpatient Hospice
- Medical-Surgical
- Community-Based Hospice
- Palliative Care
- Demonstrated competency in caring for patients with advanced-stage disease.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to initiate and successfully complete complex projects.
- A demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
