Salary:$120,000–$140,000/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No weekends | No holidays | No call
Position: Permanent, Full-Time
Position Overview
The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its oncology team in a full-time permanent role. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with the opportunity to work in both outpatient oncology and hospital-based rounding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
- Collaborate with oncologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.
- Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate inpatient oncology care.
- Manage follow-up visits and address acute and chronic patient needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and supportive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ideal Candidate
- Valid and active NP or PA license.
- Oncology experience strongly preferred.
- Outpatient clinical experience preferred.
- Hospitalist or inpatient experience is a plus.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable splitting time between clinic and hospital rounding, although this is not a requirement.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- $120K–$140K annual salary
