Job Summary:
This position operates and prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain studies of diagnostic quality according to written protocols and patient needs. Responsibilities include performing imaging procedures, positioning patients, providing patient education, ensuring safety standards, maintaining equipment, and assisting physicians as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- New York State License (L.R.T).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in MRI.

Additional Information:
- Adherence to infection control policies and protocols.
- Attendance at professional development meetings and in-services.
- Maintenance of licensure in good standing.
