Job Summary:
This position operates and prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs. Responsibilities include performing imaging procedures, positioning patients, ensuring safety standards, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and assisting physicians as required.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• New York State License (L.R.T.).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).
• Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Two years of experience in MRI.

Required Certifications:
 

• New York State IV Certification.
• BLS certification.
