Job Summary:
This position operates and prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The MRI Technologist applies technical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality studies according to written protocols and patient needs. Responsibilities include performing imaging procedures, positioning patients, educating them about the process, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and assisting physicians as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy, physical sciences, and MRI physics.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State License (L.R.T).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).

• Two (2) years of experience in MRI.
