**Join Our Team as an Acute Travel RN: Med/Surg!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Marquette General, Marquette, MI - **Facility:** 225 bed specialty care hospital - **Specialties:** Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, Pediatrics - **Community:** Largest community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, home to Northern Michigan University **Position Details:** - **Role:** Acute Medical/Surgical RN - **Shift:** 7 PM - 7:30 AM - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Hours:** Rotating - **Patient Ratios:** 5:1 to 6:1 - **Orientation:** Bi-weekly - **Float Requirements:** Occasional to "like" unit **Unit Information:** - **Trauma Level:** 2 - **Equipment:** Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps - **EHR:** Cerner **Candidate Requirements:** - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree (BSN preferred) - **Experience:** 2+ years in a medical/surgical unit - **Certifications:** Required ACLS - **Skills/Experience:** - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Capable of performing in a stressful environment and taking appropriate action **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Galaxy Blue (Navy also acceptable) - **Attire Policy:** - Fingernails must be clean and not excessive in length - Tattoos considered offensive must be covered - Excessive jewelry not permitted **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
