**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Job Description:** - Are you a passionate Registered Nurse ready to make a difference in the lives of expectant families? - Join our dynamic Labor and Delivery team, where you will: - Evaluate and assist patients under the guidance of physicians. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Identify patient priorities through thorough assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for your patients through ongoing assessments. - Perform essential therapeutic nursing interventions to support optimal patient outcomes. - Manage care effectively, ensuring all documentation aligns with established standards of care and clinical priorities. - Be a strong advocate for evidence-based practice, promoting innovative care delivery methods. - Deliver patient-centric care consistent with our professional nursing practice model. - Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team. **Skills:** - **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - **Preferred Skills & Experience:** - More than 4 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - **Required Hard Skills:** - Proficient in phlebotomy and IV insertion. - Experience with EFM, vaginal exams, and assisting in the OR for cesarean sections and instrumental deliveries. **Education:** - **Required Education:** - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN). - Advanced AWHONN or EFM Certification. - **Preferred Education:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Certifications & Licensure:** - **Required Certifications:** - BLS (AHA) - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - NRP certification. - **Preferred Certifications:** - ACLS certification. **Schedule:** - Shift: Night - Hours: 36 hours per week - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - No Holiday or On-Call Requirement - No Float Requirement **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
