Expedite Healthcare Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Endoscopy for a local contract nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Title: Registered Nurse-Endoscopy
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Shift: Days (3x12 or 4x10)
Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients before endoscopic procedures and review medical history.
• Prepare patients for procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy, and other endoscopic examinations.
• Start IV lines and administer medications, including moderate sedation, as ordered.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and responses throughout procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and monitor patients for complications.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedure preparation, recovery, and follow-up instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of RN- Endoscopy.
- GA RN License
- Certs: ACLS, BLS
-Ful vaccine - required
