**Join Our Dynamic ER Team in Ottumwa!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Acute Travel RN - ER - **Shift:** 7A - 7P - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 (please note preference upon submission) - **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** None - **Patient Population:** Primarily Adults, all ages welcomed **Unit Profile:** - **Number of Beds:** 17 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 (Average of 40 visits per day) - **Equipment:** EHR - Meditech - **Supervisor:** Dedicated unit supervisor **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment - Collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals - Engage with a diverse patient population **Preferred Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in acute care settings - **Travel Experience:** Preferred, but not mandatory - **Skills:** Strong ER experience **Onboarding Requirements:** - Must have Iowa SING BG to clear (Criminal and Child Abuse portions required) - All BG checks must be fully cleared prior to start - Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) needed - Drug Test: 10 panel screening including opiates - Titers must be from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) - Monday or Tuesday starts allowed **Life in Ottumwa:** - Experience a fun river town with beautiful trails - Discover why it's known as the Video Game Capital of the World - Enjoy a low cost of living **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Any color - Unacceptable attire: None specified **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
