Department: Pathology – Cytology
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate. Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Position Overview
Holy Cross Hospital is seeking an experienced Cytologist to join the Pathology/Cytology department for a long-term assignment. The position involves performing cytology testing and supporting accurate and timely laboratory operations.
Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ State of Florida Cytologist license/credential required
✓ At least 1 year of relevant experience
✓ Cytology laboratory experience
✓ Experience with EPIC Beaker preferred
✓ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory team
✓ Strong knowledge of cytology procedures, specimen handling, and laboratory standards
✓ Must be available for the full Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule
