Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide comprehensive anesthesia services at St. Joseph Medical Center.
The provider will support a wide range of surgical services, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, vascular procedures, and other specialty cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia coverage for general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and labor and delivery.
- Manage complex vascular, orthopedic, head, spine, and neurosurgical cases.
- Provide pediatric and neonatal anesthesia services.
- Perform regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia.
- Support Cath Lab, cardiovascular lab, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Perform hospital-wide intubations as needed.
- Manage ventilation and acute hemodynamic issues.
- Perform advanced procedures, including central line, arterial line, and pulmonary artery catheter placement.
✅ Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Pennsylvania license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with a broad range of anesthesia cases
- Ability to provide full-time coverage
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
- Shift Timing: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Weekends/Holidays: Not required
- Call: None
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days
- Nearest Airport: Harrisburg International Airport
Please Note: This is a full-time position. A 30-minute lunch break is unpaid, and hours are not guaranteed. The facility does not reimburse licensing costs.
