Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. Responsibilities include circulatory support device assistance (e.g., IABP and Impella), patient preparation, equipment calibration, hemodynamic data analysis, and adherence to radiation safety standards. The role requires lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods while delivering care tailored to patient needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Two (2) years prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.
• Six (6)-12 months during CVT accredited program or two (2) years in another cardiac vascular laboratory.
• Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile operative techniques.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program, radiologic technologist program, or applied science program.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment.
• RCIS exam by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in health science field.
• Mac lab experience and EPIC familiarity.
• Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist.

Additional Information:

• ARRT certification is a plus.
• Radiological State License is preferred but not required.
• Scrub color: Green.
