**Join Our Team as a Cardiovascular Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Be a vital part of a dynamic team assisting physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. - Participate in the placement of temporary and permanent pacemakers and circulatory support devices (IABP and Impella). - Prepare and organize specialized equipment and sterile trays for each procedure, ensuring the highest standard of care. - Assist the procedure room team in positioning and preparing patient monitoring systems. - Calibrate and test transducers for accurate pressure readings. - Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures with confidence and skill. - Operate power injectors and associated sterile support equipment effectively. - Maneuver table controls for physicians as requested, while ensuring a smooth workflow. - Collect, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data, including computerized ventriculography data and valve area. - Calculate and record cardiac output and oximetry readings accurately. - Maintain digital cine technologies, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of patient images and hemodynamic records. - Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closures while focusing on patient safety. - Manage inventory control, maintain PAR levels, and prepare necessary equipment for each procedure. - Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) requirements. - Operate and maintain equipment safely and return supplies as required. - Participate in on-call responsibilities aligned with organizational policies. - Apply radial access banding while maintaining hemostasis at the access site. - Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias effectively. - Assist with the maintenance and calibration of diagnostic and technical equipment. - Perform physical tasks including lifting (40 lbs), pushing/pulling (100 lbs), and standing for at least 4 hours daily. - Tailor care to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations, effectively communicating with patients and families. - Adhere to radiation safety standards in compliance with organizational policies. - Foster a professional environment by embodying core values: Collaboration, Courage, Compassion, and Creativity. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
