Local Class A CDL Driver - Home Daily Intermodal Fleet

We are seeking a reliable Local Class A CDL Intermodal Driver for a high-paying Night Shift position operating out of Salt Lake City. Drivers will haul intermodal containers placed on bare chassis at the ramp, servicing local lanes within a 65-mile radius. This position offers consistent home daily routes, steady incentive-based pay, and 100% no-touch freight.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,300 – $1,700 per week ($1,100 base average with incentive pay)
• Pay Model: Incentive-based (Average 3 to 8 loads per day)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 Employee

Schedules & Home Time

• Shift: NIGHT SHIFT ONLY
• Home Time: Home Daily (Local routes)
• Available Work Schedules:
  • Sunday – Thursday
  • Tuesday – Saturday

Freight & Route Details

• Operating Radius: Local routes within 1–65 miles of Salt Lake City
• Freight Handling: 100% No-Touch Freight (Mix of drop-and-hook, preloaded, live load, and live unload)
• Primary Main Lanes:
  • Grantsville: Walmart drop freight & live unloads
  • Ogden: Kimberly Clark drop freight
  • Bear River City: P&G drop freight & pickups
  • Salt Lake City (SLC): Henkel drop freight, local pickups, & live unloads

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months.
• Residence: Must live within 25 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.
• Availability: Must be able to work night shifts and committed weekend schedules.
