Essential Functions

• Operate yard truck in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Safely and efficiently move trailers between buildings and in/out doors.
• Occasionally make local runs with 26' box truck.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Accurately complete required documentation including manifesting as needed.
• Communicate any safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

CDL Class A required

1-year commercial driving experience preferred.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the following

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects and tools.
• Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Perform repetitive motions involving hands and arms.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and manufacturing equipment.
• Exposure to temperature variations depending on season.

Attendance & Scheduling

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Overtime, weekend work, or shift adjustments may be required based on production needs.
