Dedicated Local Class A Position – No-Touch Freight
We are filling an immediate opening for a local, dedicated Class A CDL driver to handle daily retail distribution runs. This position features 100% no-touch freight, steady night schedules, and daily home time returning to the local yard at the end of every shift.
Pay & Volume Highlights
- Weekly Pay: Average $1,200 gross per week.
- The Run: Dedicated freight dispatched from the terminal out to the Atlanta area and back daily.
- Weekly Miles: High-density volume averaging 2,150 to 2,400 miles weekly.
- Load Volume: Around 5 full dedicated loads per week.
- Freight Profile: Preloaded dry van trailers (100% no-touch).
- Unload Type: Live store unloads (handled completely by store receivers while you wait).
Equipment & Dispatch Schedule
- The Truck: Clean, modern day cabs (local slip-seat operation).
- The Shift: Dedicated night-shift lines with assigned evening start times. Expect standard 12 to 14-hour duty windows per shift.
- The Rotation: 5-day workweek where Saturday is your main scheduled day off. Because retail supply chains run 24/7, driving on remaining weekends, nights, and holidays is a standard part of this route.
Mandatory Hiring Rules
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 months of solo tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months.
- Must live within a strict 30-mile radius of Bloomingdale, GA.
- Reliable personal transportation is required to commute daily to the yard.
- Clean MVR, clean criminal background check, and a strong work ethic.
- Safety Policy: This dedicated account is strictly not SAP friendly.
