About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a dedicated local delivery assignment in Upper Marlboro, MD. You will deliver wholesale electrical supplies on local routes while providing professional and reliable customer service. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and light-touch freight handling.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 4:00 AM start time
• Local delivery routes
• On-site position

Job Details

• Equipment: CDL A tractor-trailer, pallet jack, and occasional flatbed truck
• Flatbed experience is not required; training is provided for proper strapping and cargo securement procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned local delivery routes
• Deliver wholesale electrical supplies to customers
• Load and unload freight using a pallet jack
• Occasionally operate a flatbed truck as needed
• Strap and secure cargo according to required safety procedures
• Complete vehicle inspections and delivery paperwork
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to safely handle light-touch freight and operate a pallet jack
• Willingness to learn flatbed cargo securement procedures
• Must be at least 21 years old
