About the Position
Our client is seeking a professional Local CDL A Truck Driver for a home-daily delivery position in Buford, GA. This role involves operating a tractor-trailer with a dry van and liftgate while completing local LTL deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable operating a manual transmission and handling light touch freight.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $26.00 per hour
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time: 6:00 a.m.
- Hours per week: 40
- Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a manual-transmission tractor-trailer on local routes.
- Complete approximately 15–17 deliveries per day.
- Unload palletized freight using the liftgate and perform light touch handling as needed.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT regulations.
- Provide professional and courteous service at delivery locations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Experience operating like equipment, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- At least 25 years of age.
