We are hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated Whole Foods account based in Richmond, CA. Drivers will deliver grocery products to multiple locations using refrigerated trailers and electric pallet jacks.
Pay & Earnings
- $34.25 per hour
- Average annual earnings of $93,000–$98,000
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
- Guaranteed 40-hour workweek
- Paid weekly
Schedule & Home Time
- Home daily
- Five-day workweek
- Shifts range from 8–12 hours
- Current opening is for a PM shift
- Weekend work required
- Union schedule bids determined by seniority
- Schedules may change during rebidding
Equipment & Responsibilities
- Late-model day cab
- Refrigerated trailers
- Multi-stop grocery deliveries for Whole Foods
- Electric pallet jack used for unloading
- Snow chains used on mountain routes
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Snow chaining experience required for drivers operating Reno and Tahoe routes year-round
- Ability to complete multi-stop deliveries
- No SAP Drivers
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Able to work weekends
