Job Overview:- Local routes within a 40-mile radius of Port Allen, LA- Average 250 miles per day- Hauling bulk powder cement, alumina, fly ash, and lime Schedule and Home Time:- 6 days on, 1 day off rotation (weekend work required)- Home daily Compensation and Bonuses:- $900-$1100 weekly- Cement load/unload: $30 per dispatch- Lime and alumina load/unload: $50 per dispatch- Detention pay: $5 per quarter hour- $1,500 referral bonus ($750 at hire, $750 at 90 days) Key Responsibilities:- 100% touch freight - hands-on loading and unloading- Assist with loading: climb trailer, flip lids, position hoses- Offloading: connect 20-60 ft hoses, operate pneumatic blower- Monitor gauges to ensure smooth product flow Requirements:- Valid CDL-A license- 6 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience OR 1 year within the past 3 years- TWIC card (required)- Physical ability to perform loading/unloading tasks- Willingness to work weekends Join our carrier partner as a Dry Bulk Driver in Port Allen, LA!
