NO TOUCH freight, home every night, and a pay scale that steps up
seven times over your first three years instead of leaving you
where you started. Dedicated night grocery work out of
Harrisonville running the Kansas City metro. 10 solo seats and
2 team seats open.
THE POSITION
- Freight: dedicated grocery — dry and refrigerated
- Equipment: reefer trailers and dry trailers
- Live load, live unload, drop and hook — mostly live unloads
- Backhauls
- NO TOUCH freight
- Approx. 1,100 to 1,400 miles per week
- Solo and team drivers welcome
PAY
- Starting at $0.49 per mile, with scheduled increases:
0 months ......... $0.49
3 months ......... $0.51
9 months ......... $0.52
12 months ........ $0.54
18 months ........ $0.55
24 months ........ $0.57
36 months ........ $0.60
- $10.00 for your first stop, $15.00 for every stop after
- $25.00 short haul pay on loads under 50 miles
- Average $1,100 to $1,200 per week
- Driver performance bonus — safety performance requirements

- NIGHT shift — overnight only

STRAIGHT TALK ABOUT THIS ACCOUNT
Four things you should know before you apply, and I'd rather you
hear them from me than find out in week two. This is an overnight
shift, every shift — not a rotation, not sometimes. Weekends are
part of the schedule. Every holiday gets worked on this account,
so Thanksgiving and Christmas are working nights here. And most
of your loads are live unloads, which means there will be nights
you sit waiting to get loaded or unloaded, and that wait is part
of the job. In exchange: you never touch the freight, you are
home every single night, the freight is consistent instead of
feast-or-famine, every stop pays on top of your mileage, and the
pay scale actually moves — seven raises built in between your
start date and your third year, ending at sixty cents. If you can
live with nights and holidays, this is a steady seat.

ORIENTATION

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

AGE & LICENSE
- 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months
- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)
- No endorsements required for this position
EXPERIENCE — one of the following
- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR
- 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years
DRIVING RECORD
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years
- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years
ACCIDENTS
- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years
- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification
- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years
WORK HISTORY
- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months
- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years
DUI / DWI
- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever
- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP
- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP
- No multiple DUI/DWIs
DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING
- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions
- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed
- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years
CRIMINAL HISTORY
- Violence, theft, drug, and sex-related offenses reviewed individually

drug testing, and final approval.
